The AppStore №1 and top-rated for your Apple Watch, Sweatcoin app converts your outdoor steps into gadgets, sports and fitness kit, services and experiences. 5 Stars ► “Such a great concept and executed excellently. Gets me walking and rewards me for it too!” by Woo123789 “Basically pays you to move and exercise, and it costs nothing to use.” - Men’s Journal “The easiest way to make some side cash by doing what you already do naturally — walking.” - TheNextWeb “New UK health app Sweatcoin launched in the Apple app store this week and has been an instant hit.” - Forbes “New Apple app launches in Britain that pays people to get fit” - Reuters “The app that PAYS you to get fit: Sweatcoin rewards people for the number of steps they make every day” - Daily Mail “If ever you’ve needed an incentive to exercise, a new app could give you a much-needed boost to get active.” - Telegraph Sweatcoin converts your steps into currency units called, as you might have guessed it, sweatcoins. You can then spend them on goods, services and experiences on our market place with our partners or exchange them with your friends and family for whatever you fancy. The fitter and healthier you become the wealthier you get. Movement has value! And remember that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Sweatcoin uses your HealthKit step history data to continuously improve our algorithms and provide you with better offers at the right time.

This app is absolutely the best and I love that I can make money just for walking! I wish you can deposit the money but there working on it!!!
  • Don’t bother.

I downloaded this app because I do a lot of walking between not driving and being a server so I thought why not make a little profit off of it? Well for starters when on battery save mode it loses probably half of my steps, when I turn this off it counts them all but zaps my battery in no time. This isn’t what bothers me though, what bugs me is that with every x many steps you’ll acquire sweat coins that you can redeem for different offers once you have enough saved up. WRONG. You can redeem these offers but not without adding your card information and in many cases signing up for a subscription to some unheard of company with cheap products. Any of the big payoff items like an amazon gift card or PayPal credit require an unrealistic amount of sweat coins and unless you subscribe for a premium membership your daily sweat coin cap is 5 but to redeem a big ticket items you have to have I want to say 5,000 something sweat coins. (I deleted the app and so my details are kind of fuzzy) DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS APP!!!!

Honestly i like the app it helps me with motivation but the rewards are out of my reach and i walk every day because of school and work i honestly would love gift cards. It would help because who doesn’t like gift cards it would motivate others to walk even more but this is my opinion

Let me start of by saying I think it's a excellent idea for an app to get people motivated. That's why I'm giving it two stars instead of one. Was very happy with the app when I first installed it, now, not so much. When I first started using the app the conversion for steps to coins was great, not all my steps were converted, and I understood why. I was getting a little more then half of my steps converted. So if I worked a double at my job and I walked 20,000 steps, I would get 9,000 to 10,000 converted. Which was awesome! I could have easily achieved the yearly goal offer in a year. Then the updates started coming. With in the past 3 months the updates have progressively made the app worse in my opinion. I understand the updates are supposed to hinder "cheating" which is fine with me. But with every update less and less of my steps are being converted. Example from today, I walked 4,331 steps at my job. (what was converted I find is a joke) Out of the 4,331 steps it analyzed 484 steps and then converted into .45 (45 cents) They way you have it set up now the "Marathon offers" are unachievable, and the "Yearly Goals - 10,000 steps a day" would take me 10 years to achieve. Don't get me wrong, it's counting my steps correctly. I compare it to my health app on my iPhone. With each new update the "analyzing" and the "conversation" rate has gone insane. I down graded my app to the "Mover" from the "Shaker" because it's just not worth it to be on "shaker" now. I know you are trying to get better things to offer for spending the coins we get, but mostly they are $5.00 off a $50.00 order or a month free for a 12 month subscription. So I'm one of the ones going for the "Yearly Goal" offers. But as of right now those are unachievable. I'll give it one more update to see if maybe you can work out the bugs. But right now it's not even worth the space it takes up in my phone.

  • Good intentions...

So here’s my problem. I sound like a whining stuck up s***bag complaining about an app that purely inspires people to get off the couch and do something productive (as I write this review in bed at 1 in the afternoon) and rewards people for doing so while also offering more steps per day for a certain amount of S.C. which is perfect for those shoot for the stars over achievers. I am not a programmer in any way, nor do I understand the work in creating a super complex program such as Sweatcoin must be, but that is neither here nor there. I basically wanted to praise these guys first for their intentions, their dedication, their courage, and their ceaseless hard work and taking my hat off to the creators. I’m giving this review for their sake so they have an honest review instead of a secondhand “two thumbs up great job” review that I see all over the place. This app deserves an honest review to help better their app so that more people can benefit and they can reach further goals. So here it is. I am privileged enough to have a job as a valet attendant at a very busy location, working outside 5-6 days a week and running an average of 20,000 steps in any given shift. So this app seemed perfect for me. I started with the highest promise S.C. payout per day to get 20 S.C. per day since I was averaging that just at work. That didn’t happen. To keep things shorter than I have, basically I went down to the 10/day limit and I still don’t reach that goal each day I work. Hell I’d be happy if I get to 5 a day. Only one time had I reached 10 S.C. in one day which shocked me, point being it shouldn’t when my average is much much higher. Just the other day I had 16,000 steps recorded when I looked and had only earned 0.36 S.C. Pretty demotivating. Now I’ve tried the whole make sure your gps is working and turn battery save mode off and keep the app open and I do everything right and still the app is super inconsistent. I’m in a perfect position for this to work. I’m outside 8 hours a day running a rat race and the app doesn’t convert all my steps, I can only imagine the frustration of someone who actually has to go outside in their spare time to get these steps. I know the developers are working on improving the algorithm, but as of right now, there is no way I can get any of the offers within the year as projected with the way things are going, which is pretty disappointing and makes me wonder if it’s worth keeping the app which is more disappointing because, like I said earlier, the intentions of this app is very inspiring. There is my 100% honest basic review. Hope it helps

I really like your work keep it up
  • Great App but...

I love the app and it’s easy to work. However, I wish each Sweatcoin was worth the amount some of the offers asked for. For example, instead of having to get 3,000 Sweatcoins just for 50 dollars on PayPal, it should be 50 Sweatcoins or at least 100 for 50 dollars, because it would take a long time to just get 3,000 Sweatcoins
