I’ve had a guitar sitting around for awhile so I wanted to actually learn how to play the guitar. App seems great, I make an account and I don’t get premium. First two days are great, 10 minutes of practice a day, and although I don’t enjoy having to wait an entire day for my next lesson I’m okay with it. But, I do two lessons and it tells me how “a good weekend is great for relaxing, take a break” I’m like okay whatever you say buddy. So I come back the next day and I see a notification on my phone saying “Your daily lesson is ready for you to begin” or whatever they say. So I go onto the app and see in green “Start Lesson” so I hit start and it shoves how I should buy the premium package down my throat. I hit exit because I’m not about to spend $120. I wait another day, come back, AND THE APP STILL WON’T LET ME DO MY LESSON. it’s a rip off guys, maybe it’s a me problem, but all I did was take TWO LESSONS and the app got me hooked, I was doing great, probably made me believe I was doing great because I noticed that even when I played a note wrong it would still say I’m correct. And yes to check that it was true and I wasn’t crazy, I purposely didn’t the play the next notes AND IT DIDN’T REALIZE UNTIL THE 5TH UNPLAYED NOTE! This app is made for people to become so fixated and think that they are so amazing at the instrument that they should pull $120 out of their wallet for their 10 minute lessons. No you shouldn’t. This app is terrible, it was great the whole TWO DAYS it lasted but I’ll take my money to an actual professional. I knew it was too good to be true for an app to teach me the guitar for free. And if someone who works for Yousician sees this, can you please fix my problem or is it just part of your scam you call a music app?

I’m looking for a free version of something like this that actually works They responses are slow and clunky at best and useless at worst This can actually hinder your progress because you think your doing something wrong when it’s actually the app doing something wrong I would go be it a zero if I could
  • Worth The Price of Admission to the World of Musicians

Started learning the guitar (classical) through Yousician four weeks ago & have progressed faster than I thought possible... Serious about learning the guitar? Want well thought-out, fun, interesting, motivating, intelligent, and logically presented lessons & information designed for individual pacing? Looked into guitar lessons but don’t have the flexibility to commit to a regular time and place on a weekly basis? Have you calculated the cost of annual guitar lessons with a professional teacher? Yousician has earned Apple’s Editors’ Choice and my recommendation because it epitomizes the power of an App: the power to teach effectively & the power to learn efficiently, entertainingly & conveniently. ...Some days I practice for 10 minutes & others I practice for over an hour. Yousician allows you to cater your lessons to your schedule. Yes, for an app it initially seems to have a high price but the price equates to less than 4 one hour lessons with a professional guitarist & you can learn at the pace your sore fingertips allow. Whether I practice for 10 minutes or an hour, Yousician has proven to represent a great investment towards reaching my guitar playing goals. I also plan to Yousician some piano skills soon. Yousician: well worth the price of admission to join the world of musicians. Not affiliated with the creators — just an avid and appreciative Youser;-)

One word « perfect » Just what I needed to give a plus in my every week lessons

Yousician is the worst way to learn a instrument. I was just starting to learn guitar and it switched me to piano and I had to restart my account. Plus after I just learned what the frets were it expected me to know what cord E was! If you are looking to play a instrument I suggest you take lesson from something else. - Mad musician 😡😡😡
