  • Good, but room for improvement

The app is overall very good. There are some things that I think should be included. 1) at the beginning, there should be some information for beginners such as: a) translations are not exact b) which hand should be used for signs or if it doesn’t not matter which hand 2) a search bar for actual words sort of like an ASL dictionary (right now you can search a word and it pulls up lessons with that word in the title) 3) there should be a section explaining sentence structures Overall, I am very happy with my experience with the app so far.

There is one section not downloading after purchasing. Otherwise, app is good. The sign-w/Nyle one. No matter what I do, it errors and doesn’t load. Pls help.
  • Not very useful, it “crashes” always.

It’s impossible to use because when it opens or regains the entire screen from background, it displays the splash/logo, then the photo/word list momentarily, and immediately collapses back to the background. When either restarted or promoted from background, same result. Useless on a brand new iPad Mini 4 with latest iOS 11.4.1.
  • Not much free

I was very disappointed in this app. There is only a few signs that are free. You have to pay for each component. 😡

I love the app and I’m learning so much so fast. BUT I hate to say when I paid for more bundles, everything went through though it’s taking sooo long to download. I tried letting it load for hours but it’s not progressing. Please I really want to learn the other lessons. :(

I was really enjoying this app so I decided to buy the whole set. Unfortunately, the second I did that, I have not been able to download and open any of the bundles to learn.

This app is amazing, and I am really enjoying learning sign language. The only thing I would suggest is that there be a pause button when watching videos, because it would help me learn a lot better, and I wouldn’t have to restart the whole video just to make sure I got a little gesture right. I also like practicing the gesture after it is shown, because it helps me remember it more. Love this app, great job!!

I was using this app and then it quit working. As soon as it comes on it goes right off. Frustrating!
  • Not ASL

Many of the signs weren’t ASL and as my Deaf 9yr old was looking through the app she kept asking why the signs were wrong? Some of the signs, like hungry, are universal, not regional, so there shouldn’t be variations. I gave two stars because the videos were clear and played well.
