    it really does seem like a good app but in order to listen to music you have to pay a subscription. I think that if people wanted no adds or other things from this app i would understand. But it’s not the best move because on other music apps let you listen to music without paying for it.

    Unless I play this app through Sonos I’m stuck with the perpetual loading signal nothing ever plays. 🤷‍♂️ I’m going to have to go back to Spotify.

    This music app is otherwise perfect except for one missing feature. There should definitely be a customizable equalizer incorporated. Spotify has this and I love it (I’m a bass guy). Would be a 5 star with this.
  • Nothing Loads on CarPlay

    I mainly use this app in my car through Apple CarPlay. For the past 3-4 months I have had trouble with songs loading. I tap on a song and it spins and spins. Sometimes the app crashes. Sometimes one or two artist will play and the others won’t. The music on the explore page won’t load at all. I have Verizon and it isn’t that my service is poor; I have three to full bars when I use it and have these issues. I have these issues with regular use outside of CarPlay, too. I like this app and I really don’t want to use Spotify. Please help.

    I’ve had an issue very often with the pink message bar appearing at the bottom of my screen saying “tidal is being played on another device”. I do have multiple devices in my household between everyone on my plan and I should be able to play tidal on all of them. I pay monthly for tidal premium. Is there a device limit that I can install the app on? If so, what is it?

    In the spring of 2018, i signed up for a six month trial period on Tidal. Knowing my trial would be expiring soon, I went onto my profile to check the exact date. However, my profile said that I had no subscriptions, not even my six month trial. Unclear of what exactly was going on, I contacted customer service by email telling them there was no information on my subscription. Customer service responded-a man named Sergio-telling me there was no account associated with my email. I told Sergio this was impossible and sent them a screen shot of my email address listed on my profile page. No response. And no response for the rest of the day.... I contacted customer service in another email and told them that no one was responding to my previous email and it would be nice if someone addressed my concerns in a timely and courteous manner.” Rather than apologize or address my email they merged this email to be connected to my conversation with Sergio! No personal response, no words at all! Just a merge to Sergio and that was it! Finally, after still getting no response from anyone, I sent Sergio the credit card associated with my account as in the first email from him he told me they may be able to look up my account this way. But I received a response this morning, this credit card is not associated with this account. This is impossible! It is the card that I see on my account. But if I send another email, I’m almost confident I will either receive no response or an automated list of things to do like try to cancel my subscription through iTunes (I’ve looked into this and there is no subscription associated with Tidal.). Sergio also told me that I can refute the charges with my credit card company. Thank you, Tidal! Such an accommodating and helpful thing to say to a customer! As of now, the issue is unresolved and I have the impression that no one cares. Stay away from Tidal, it’s a scam.
