Description

We’ll do the vetting so you can do the petting. Want to date someone who shares your drive? And maybe, just maybe, you’d like to meet someone attractive enough to look good in black-and-white photos, courteous enough to use punctuation marks, and flexible enough to fit into your way-too-restrictive scheduling blocks? While your mother calls you picky, we call you self-aware. It’s happy hour, so go get ’em.' League users now have the option of becoming a member by purchasing several subscription options. This membership offers extra perks, customization, more prospects & invites to exclusive events. Depending on what term you choose, your Membership will last for either 1 month, 6 month, or 12 month, and automatically renew at those intervals from point of purchase onward. If you wish to cancel your membership before it is renewed, you must do so at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and will be renewed at the same price the next term. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings after purchase. • Great concept, needs work.

I love the concept. It’s nice to meet professionals and well-educated individuals seeking someone who is also driven. Unfortunately, this app has yet to develop basic search criteria you’d find on almost any other dating app (political affiliation, whether one has/wants kids, if you drink, if you smoke, etc). To compound that problem of constantly getting suggestions for people with whom you would then want to un-match, the section to write a bio is ridiculously limited. And most members, I’ve found, don’t write anything. I’ve tried to suggest these changes to the concierge and nothing has come of it. I’m getting incredibly frustrated at having paid for a service that has led to no real potential matches. Because of this, the boosts you can purchase in-app prove useless. And I’ve tried them. I just want this app to improve so that everyone can get more out of it! It just makes sense that these added search criteria finally be added now that the app is more popular. Until this happens, I wouldn’t recommend it any longer to my large network of single friends and colleagues.
  • Great concept, but know your demographics

The app itself is fine- great layout, easy to use. The concept and format are also five star. However, you need to be prepared to pay and pay again to boost your profile. And all else aside, demographics are demographics. If you fall into a high demand category for your area, you will do well on this site. However, if you land on the surplus stock side of the demographic equation, you won’t.

Long lines outside a new club only to find it empty inside?? Yea... That's what they're doing. How do they expect to give you more options by making people wait to join. Smart guys.. Really smart. Pretentious apps like this gets the delete asap!!!!
  • Very low user activity

I’m familiar with how app algorithms work and can speak honestly that there is such a substantial lag between swiping right and a match occurring that frequently one of the two parties have left the app. Not a good place to meet someone despite the gimmick of exclusivity.

And my place was advanced by 2 in one day. Thanks, the League. I will come back and check again in 10 years!
  • Do not sign up!

This app is a scam! Unless you live in the very few cities they service you will not find any singles in your area. They only disclose to you what cities they are in after you pay. They will not offer you a refund. So, if you want an app for online long-distance dating, have fun. This app was not for me. The closest city to me was a 4 hour drive. That makes it difficult to make connections. Waste of my time.
  • WARNING: TONS of spam in my email and limited city availability

After downloading this app and making an account, I have been receiving TONS of spam and malware emails, 26 in less than 24 hrs. I never received any junk or spam before signing up and haven’t signed up for anything, not even a single newsletter, for 4 months. Also, it is only available in a couple handfuls of cities, which isn’t disclosed until you already completed an account. You need a FB or a LinkedIn to sign up. I don’t have FB so I used LinkedIn and now I’m worried what crap it could do to that. Disappointed, was hoping it was legit. SLC is not available. BEWARE DOWNLOADING
  • Not worth the wait

It’s not worth the wait. Tinder for gay dudes is better. The app is hyped up for nada. Nothing special about it. Next

The League, for better or worse, provides a different kind of dating app experience. I wouldn’t say that I prefer this app over more popular ones, but I appreciate the quality over quantity idea being used here. As a woman who is only interested in other women, I ran out of options very quickly. I understand that this is not the fault of the app, and just depends on who is using it in my area. However I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that the app on multiple occasions started giving me males to match with instead. That shouldn’t be happening, and I’m fed up and will be deleting.
