More control. • Unlimited attachments • Retract ("un-send") an unread message • Nicknames • Themes • Priority customer support Confide has been used in over 180 countries and has been featured in Fortune, Forbes, Bloomberg, NYT, WSJ, Washington Post and more. Confide allows you to communicate digitally with the same level of privacy and security as the spoken word. Get Confide and retake control of your digital conversations. ——— ScreenShield is a new technology that is only supported when the message recipient is using a recent version of Confide. But don’t worry, older versions of Confide are still screenshot-protected by our reading experience. ——— Confide for iMessage allows you to send and receive Confide messages entirely within iMessage. It’s completely frictionless – there’s no need to create an account. Due to technical limitations of iMessage, Confide for iMessage does not offer the same level of screenshot protection as the main version of Confide. ——— Price may vary by location. Subscriptions will be charged to your credit card through your iTunes account. Subscriptions are offered for either 3-month ($29.99) or 1-year ($59.99) periods, and will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You will not be able to cancel the subscription once activated. Manage your subscriptions in Account Settings after purchase. ——— Terms of Service: https://getconfide.com/terms Privacy Policy: https://getconfide.com/privacy

  • Laggy

As of the last few versions, my app has become very laggy. Typing has about a 3-second lag. Reading messages has a lag as well when scrolling.
  • If you subscribe then it’s imposible to unsubscribe

The truth is you don’t really need the paid version, the bad thing is that if you paid $64.00 and then after a few days you see that you really don’t need this service and you want tu unsubscribe then you can’t do it. I contacted support and they told me apple do that, I logged in with apple but you don’t have the option of unsubscribe. Bad, Bad. Bad.

Sending and receiving info knowing it can’t be retrieved is Awesome
  • Many Options for Privacy

I was skeptical at first but the subscription is well worth it. I even asked the receiving contact to try to take a screenshot which was denied and notified me that it was tried. Retracting whenever you want is a great feature too.
  • Remember when...

Remember when you were told many years ago to first write a letter (usually because you were upset about something) and then when you cool off, tear it up? People are bristling with emotions, sometimes valid, sometimes not. Impulsive thoughts that we all have were never meant to be recorded and re-played a trillion times. Especially when sent in haste because you’re reacting and may wish to take back what you said. THAT’S what this app is for and it is EXCELLENT. Don’t be stupid and use it for criminal activities. Our politicians already tried that (yep, in the news politicians were actually caught using “Confide” and busted). There’s a way around everything. But for daily chat, Confide should be used so you or the person you’re talking to doesn’t hoard msgs to replay or share. You wouldn’t tell your friend when he/she calls that you will be recording them. That’s just weird, right? Confide is great. 100% recommend for what it’s intended for. BONUS: Because texts are encrypted and not stored on a server, you don’t have to worry about spies on a public Wi-Fi.

My best friend and I often want to send private texts. This ensures we can confide in one another and not have to worry that someone may find what we are saying. It does exactly what it says. Perfect secure text app.
  • Seems pretty secure & it’s free!!!

However, it’s version that cost money seems more secure and I would recommend it if you’re really trying to fly under the radar. Because the regular app has a flaw and allowing people to screenshot your messages when using iOS at least.
  • Can use without spam

Confide sends out spammy notifications, like every time someone you might know gets the app. There is no way to turn off those notifications without turning off ALL notifications, which renders the app useless because then you can’t know when people message you. Terrible system!

Nicely done. I wouldn’t change a thing about it Bc it does everything I need it to do except that whole pay thing.
  • Great app for private, confidential 1 to 1 communication

Great app for 1 to 1, secure and private communications that are ultimately secured by high state encryption.
