Description

Technology Never Tasted So Good! iBrewMaster 2 is a full functioned application for home brewers to manage the entire brewing process. Not only can you add, edit and manage your own recipes, iBrewMaster 2 comes complete with over 600 pre-installed recipes! Unlike other programs that simply let you manage a beer recipe, iBM2 lets you create a batch of beer from your recipe database, and track its progress every step of the way. Estimated specific original and final gravities, alcohol content, IBU's, color and calories are all automatically calculated! Or, if you prefer, override these values with your own personal calculations and readings. Details and notes as well as actual specific gravities, alcohol content and IBU's are tracked and recorded independently for each recipe as well as each independent batch of beer and stored for later review. iBM2 has been entirely rewritten from the ground up with many new features! - iBM2 is now a Universal App! - All recipe packs now included! - Updated NB recipes! - Unlimited batch timers running simultaneously! - A dozen independent Calculators have been added: - Units of Measure - Beer Color - Bitterness - Carbonation - Attenuation - SG Correction - Refractometer - Evaporation - Pitching Rates - Bottling Calculator - Mash Infusion Calculator - Water Chemistry - Water Profiles - Mash and Equipment Profiles have been reworked - Supports multiple yeasts - Yeast pitching rates - iCalendar implemented - Links to NB recipe .pdf's - Updated ingredients: - 500 Grains & Adjuncts - 138 Hops - 191 Yeasts - 126 Additions - 33 Water Profiles - 16 Mash Profiles - You can now create Recipes from Batches! - Recipes and Batches can now be scaled by Efficiency - Recipes and Batches can be e-mailed as .pdf files The core areas of the program are as follows: * Schedule - all current batch activity in a clean organized format. • Doesn’t work lots of errors

I’m unable to import my previous brewmaster v1 database. The Dropbox integration doesn’t work and causes errors. This app isn’t worth purchasing.
  • All recipes lost... now way to restore!

Without any notification/email regarding a change to Brewmaster 2 because of OS software update Brewmaster 1 which I used for years was dead and cannot be opened, meaning years of recipes are gone... the least they could’ve done was gave notice allowing users for a chance to print off or export the original recipes, or developed a way to transfer data over to BM2. Lousy thinking, poor implementation, and they have no way to contact them about this.
  • Making the switch to beer smith

When the app works it is great. I have formulated great recipes with the tools. That being said- the app has way too many bugs and crashes consistently. The device to device communication does not work well between iPhone and iPad. At the price point, it is well worth it to explore other options. Impressive features that don’t work without crashing. Developers you need to fix this

Used to use it, now half of the functions don't work
  • Developer is AWOL

This has been my brewing app for nearly 6 years. I love the features and capabilities. It's always had niggling bugs, but you could work around them. For the past 2-3 years the developer hasn't supported the app. There are no content updates on the web site, or any responses from repeated inquiries. It appears this app is at the end of its lifecycle and the developer is just "milking" any residual revenue. Time to move on.
  • I never brew without it!

My personal brew buddy. Saved recipes for over 5 years transferee seamlessly to new iPad. The only reason not 5 stars is could not share info to android version. Now android not available. I like the timer for mashing, adding ingredients, and reminders for fermentation.

Love this app, but unfortunately development is no longer. I would actually love to talk to someone at iBrewmaster about purchasing and resuming development. Have tried reaching out to every email I can possibly find with no response, or bounced messages. It’s too bad, because it is by far the best out there.
  • No support, Dead app

This was by far one of the best brewing apps out there. The ability to track multiple batches, the scheduling, being able to print or email batches or recipes, the backup/restore feature - this app did it all. And then the developer skipped town, never made the fix for Dropbox’s new platform, and stopped updating the app or even providing support to those of us who spent our money. What a shame! Now I’m forced to use another app that has much less. What an absolute waste of all the time and effort that went into making this app. Do not buy.
  • Registration

I can't even register my info, nothing happens when I press "submit". This kind of stinks considering I have an account already for ibrewmaster 1. There’s no response from the developer. You had no problem taking my money, but there’s no support. I sent emails through the iBrewMaster website and no response. Could be a great app, and was. Now that I can’t access iBrewMaster1, I can no longer search my personal recipes...I have 50+ I made and it’s all gone. I’m insanely disappointed.
  • Needs a new developer

This could easily be the absolute best Brewing app around. All it needs is to be sold to someone who will pay any kind of attention to it. This developer has gone awol, and is does not care about all the people who have spent money on this app. PLEASE! Sell this to someone else, and let them keep it alive. With a new team behind it, it will be better than BeerSmith by far. That’s my plea, pretty sure I just wasted 5 minutes writing it.
