  • Family Sharing Not Available

    By Bidouz
With a yearly subscription of 80$/month I don’t understand why Family sharing isn’t available on paid accounts!? My brother not a subscription and I cannot have access. I consider this as being the virtual equivalent of a library or at least a library pass. Take Microsoft Office 365 home for instance. You pay 99$/year and can share the license for Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote etc... Or Adobe Cloud for the same price Giving you photoshop and other adobe software . These are very advanced pieces of software and I don’t see how Blinkist justifies such rates. I don’t see any value in the paid subscription when I already have an audible account for instance where I get a full audiobook every month with the subscription. I would just use Blinkist as a reference and listen to the full version on audible!
  • Almost good but....

Great idea but..... search function non existent. One narrator sounds like his dentures are loose. Price is way too high. You have a great idea ... needs work. Finally, agree it is leftist leaning ... ok as a fox offset I suppose
  • Good resource for bad books

    By Ttyyttyyttyttyy
The service seems largely geared towards self help books. It's good for those since they typically have very little content anyway. The blinks merely clear away the fluff. Other books are little more than interesting listicles inflated to book size. Blinkist strips them back down to their correct size. For real books however, it's a big let down. The level of abstraction is so high that you get nothing you wouldn't get from reading a review of the book. So, it depends what you like to read. If you're all about cramming self help books, this app will save you a ton of time.
  • App was free, but that was about all

    By Ccsb1954
I understand about in-app purchases. But my experiences have been a little more balanced than this app. There’s very little free about it. So . . . Good idea, but I don’t want to pay $80.
  • Very useful!

I love that there is an audible option. Thank you!
  • Love Blinklist!

Feel so much more productive and informed when I listen to a Blink while driving, walking or doing things around the house. My topics of interest are just click away.
  • Great app!!

    By Calm dumb
This app is awesome. I can now read all the books I ever wanted to without spending all the time I didn’t want to.
  • Don’t do it

    By H. Gruber
Free for a week and then automatically charged me $80 for a year premium subscription. I should have read the fine print, but billing customers like this is a scheme. If your service is actually worth $80 you don’t have to sneak-charge like this after a free trial. The worst.
  • You have to pay for everything

    By That interesting one
You have to pay for everything. There is like one story for free but that’s not worth downloading a whole app for. They should make this more clear on the app page or just make you pay for the app upfront. Be transparent.
  • Wow

    By Cantpickagoodname
Ok, so... upon opening the app, I *immediately* get hit with an offer up upgrade...WITHOUT EVEN HAVING A CHANCE TO LOOK AT THE APP! Seriously, that’s nervy... and so, as quickly as you they beg for money, is as quickly as I deleted it.
