  • Disappointing.

I found the information within the app unimaginative, lacking, and useless. Not as much a guide to the city as it is a vehicle to advertise different vendors, including a large ad for Rolex in the mainframe of the app. I see no reason for a $4 app to contain such blatent advertisement. It literally reads "sponsered by Rolex" on the home screen and has dedicated an entire tab of information within the content about the Rolex collection. This is expected from a free app but not paid. Funny that on the Phaidon site the app's home screen is shown without the advertisement. The reason I gave 2 stars is because it is well designed, aesthetically and interactively. With updated content, it could be great. In the mean time, as a Phaidon fan and someone who spent too much on a useless app, I'm disappointed.
