  • $4.99 down the drain

So I got the free app and realized it didn’t have a barcode scanner. Decided to splurge and paid the $4.99 to upgrade. Should have read closer because after I upgraded I realized that the scanner isn’t supported with iPhone. What a waste.
  • Works well, just a few tweaks needed

This app is functional, it could just use a few tweaks to make it more powerful. Mostly, I would love each list to have its own master. For instance, I shop for different things at the drugstore versus the grocery store. I don’t want to page thru the entire grocery master list to make my drugstore list. Also, I’d like the master list to automatically show up by category so I can page thru as I look at my pantry and make my list.

My spouse and I share a synced account and it works perfectly.
  • Great little app

I’ve used this app for a couple of years. Simple, effective interface. Keep your items in your master list and simply tap to add to your “need” list. Simply tap again to return the item to the master list. Lost one star with a recent update. The master list is now presented in “most recent” order and can’t be changed. I prefer alphabetical order. Hope the developer fixes this.

I have put the app on both mine and wife phone. It is so usefulto just add items as you note the need. We have list for each store we use. Will likely upgrade before Jan. 1.

I had Grocery IQ until it disappeared from the App Store for some reason. It was an excellent product. I like this app because it provides a simple interface as with Grocery IQ. However, when you put an item into a category, there is no way to list items by category and item to edit the name of the item. That would be a nice addition. Also, I think a more subtle category divider line would be less harsh on the overall screen view for the shopping list. The green dividers seem to glare at you. Technically it seems to be a well written product.
  • Wish you could categorize when first entering an item

I love this app but I wish you could categorize when first entering an item instead of having to go to the uncategorized section and editing after the fact

Apple users would love to have bar code and database in pro version.
