Funny that you updated a coding app 1 day ago yet it doesn’t fully support the new iPad. Curious...

I bought the subscription because I wanted to learn how to code, not fill in the boxes and receive praise for doing nothing. This app is designed to make people feel good and give the developers money, not to teach. I’m sad because the app is so fun but doesn’t do the only thing it’s supposed to which is help me learn things. @the developers- you need to go back to the drawing board with input from people who have real experience teaching UPDATE: The app SoloLearn is MUCH more intuitive and has the exact same purpose as mimo, AND you can interact with other users and their coding projects and experiments! If you’re reading the reviews to see if you should download this app I recommend using that one instead.

Learning something on your free time shouldn’t be like school. Everything has to be payed for monthly how about on payment and that’s the end of it.
  • Love it! Get it!

First of all, I read everyone’s review before deciding to download the app. Everyone had valid points but nothing in life is free. $10 a month is not even that bad. I did purchase the premium because it was 75% off. $2.50 a month / $30 a month is NOTHING and I am so grateful you guys had this discount. Second of all, These lessons are great. I was doing the programming one first and was like why are they telling me to make a PBJ sandwich lol 😂 but I got the point. It’s so easy. Thank you guys for making this and having the willingness to teach this. Growing up some of the stuff school taught us was a bunch of crap. Now I can even have my teens do this because it’s so simple. Keep up the great work! PS. I never write reviews for any apps but y’all done did something great.
  • This app is defs worth the subscription.

I have never been so motivated to take a class online. This isn’t just some random app that claims to teach you something. Mimo comprehensively teaches how to code. Let me tell you... I knew 100% nothing about coding before I downloaded this app. 3 days later I was about to create something that looked like a webpage! All in this weird language knew nothing about before! And the best part is that I’m not just following a tutorial and forgetting everything I’ve learned. I’m remembering and able to continue growing my knowledge! I’m excited to continue and for $30 a year it’s defs worth it.
  • Too little too early

I understand not wanting to give the courses away for free, but so little is available in the intro session (singular not plural) that I can’t make any decision about whether it’s worth spending my money to continue the courses. It feels like ordering an appetizer and getting a singular Brussel sprout... if you’re not willing to bet 30 on an unknown quantity i wouldn’t download.
  • Amazing

Oh did you think I meant Mimo was amazing I thought you were talking about defenestrating chicken nuggets
  • It should be free

I think it should be free because I like to code

You get a lesson or so for free but then you need to pay for a subscription of some nature. I took a few days to think and decided that learning to code is what I really wanted to try. So far this app has made it interesting and more simple than my fears made me think. I would recommend highly.
