Description

Pokémon GO just introduced a new research feature that encourages Trainers to explore the world by completing a variety of objectives with the opportunity to earn helpful rewards and discover powerful Pokémon. Join Trainers across the globe who are discovering Pokémon as they explore the world around them. Pokémon GO is the global gaming sensation that has been downloaded over 800 million times and named “Best Mobile Game” by The Game Developers Choice Awards and “Best App of the Year” by TechCrunch. Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pikachu, and many other Pokémon have been discovered! Pokémon are out there, and you need to find them. As you walk around a neighborhood, your smartphone will vibrate when there’s a Pokémon nearby. Take aim and throw a Poké Ball… You’ll have to stay alert, or it might get away! Search far and wide for Pokémon and items Certain Pokémon appear near their native environment—look for Water-type Pokémon by lakes and oceans. Visit PokéStops and Gyms—found at interesting places like museums, art installations, historical markers, and monuments—to stock up on Poké Balls and helpful items. Catching, hatching, evolving, and more As you level up, you’ll be able to catch more-powerful Pokémon to complete your Pokédex. You can add to your collection by hatching Pokémon Eggs based on the distances you walk. Help your Pokémon evolve by catching many of the same kind. Choose a Buddy Pokémon to walk with and earn Candy that will help you make your Pokémon stronger. Compete in epic Gym battles You’ll join one of three teams and battle for the ownership of Gyms with your Pokémon at your side. As your Charmander evolves to Charmeleon and then Charizard, you can battle together to defeat a Gym and assign your Pokémon to defend it against all comers. Team up to defeat powerful Raid Bosses A Raid Battle is a cooperative gameplay experience that encourages you to work with up to 20 other Trainers to defeat an extremely powerful Pokémon known as the Raid Boss. If you succeed in defeating it in battle, you’ll have the chance to catch an extra powerful Pokémon of your own! It’s time to get moving—your real-life adventures await! • Robbing Players

This game is nothing but a Slot Machine and the only winner is Niantic. The game wasn’t created equally and thus punishing urban and rural players. And those with disabilities who can’t leave their house. I’m sorry but 1 gym and 2 poke stops in one town isn’t enough. Some people don’t even have that...
  • Game is boring

Niantic refuses to listen to their customers feedback. It's fun for a minute but rapidly feels like your watching grass grow. I'm done. R.I.P.
  • Poor developers, avoid.

Avoid at all cost. Niantic runs this game great...right into the ground. Niantic are fun killers and do not care for people with disabilities and do not expect to catch them all, do not expect to complete any raids above tier 1, do not expect to enjoy in rural areas, so not expect to complete quests. They are money hungry for you to spend on loot boxes and item that spawn Pokémon, but only 1 every 5 min except when your vigorously walking. GPS doesn’t track properly to hatch eggs. Avoid if you or a loved one has any disabilities, they do not care for you or them. They do not care if they make a 5 year old cry. If you don’t spend $30 a month don’t expect to do much. Ex raids are a pain to get in to and if you do they are scheduled at odd times and there is no guarantee of a catch even after spending money on raid passes to attempt to earn an ex pass. Please avoid at all cost. No trading, no pvp, no tracking, no IV checking, no real stats. Battles in gyms are lack luster and have no real potential to earn you anything.

Don’t spend ANY money on this app. They don’t care about their players and will shadowban you even if your legit. If my van doesn’t lift in the next couple a of days I’m permanently deleting the app. It’s been 18 days so far #pissed
  • Where’d all the potions go?

Stay often but not so much anymore. They stopped giving potions at the pokestops and barely any at the gyms. Can’t battle when you can’t heal your Pokemon. Needs to be fixed

I love Pokemon and Pokemon Go has changed my life since I can now play with Pokémon and become a Pokémon trainer in real life. I always wanted Pokemon to be real and now it is! (Kind of.) I love how when you capture Pokemon it shows the background as if it is real. I think this is a great game but I think a lot of things can still be added. I think that It should show all of the people around you, you shouldn’t have to get more Pokémon for your Pokémon to evolve (if should be that whenever you battle you get xp and it helps your Pokémon evolve that way), instead of everyone taking over gyms it should be actual in-game people that the creators added that are challenging to beat just like actual Pokémon games, you should be able to get Pokémon gym badges and once you collected them all you could go to a Pokémon league, you should be able to add friends and battle people throughout your journey, you should be able to trade items with people, and there should be a shop with every item at every Pokémon center. Thank you for reading my review.

This game is community based and meant to be played while you’re out and about. I have met a ton of great people while playing as well. Definitely one of the best games yet!
